These are our new national leaders

It’s been just over a month since the latest national and provincial government elections in South Africa. On 30 June 2024 our country reached a significant milestone with the announcement of our new national executive for the Government of National Unity.

This pivotal development marks a step towards inclusivity and collaborative governance, as leaders from diverse political backgrounds come together to address the country’s challenges and drive forward national priorities.

Let’s hold thumbs that the Government of National Unity brings fresh perspectives and a unified approach to tackling issues such as economic growth, social development and national security, and that the electricity grid remains stable and functional!

The new executive is composed of veteran politicians and new leaders. Each member brings a unique set of skills and experiences, promising to foster a government that is both dynamic and responsive to the needs of all South Africans. It will be interesting to see how things play out over the next few months.
