The Big Break supports fight against GBV
A few months ago, the CN&CO team got together with Mark Grobbelaar of INpowered – an organisation dedicated to equipping both women and men with the essential tools to protect themselves in a physically threatening situation – for a self-protection workshop. The workshop was empowering and confidence-building, and we all left feeling like we had a better idea of how to escape harm if we ever found ourselves in danger.

Now, Mark and his team are taking the show on the road. The Big Break, touted as “the biggest women-only board break in the world”, will take place on 21 November 2024 at the Sunbet Arena in Pretoria. There will be two board breaks – one for women only, and one for everyone.
Tickets cost R850 per couple, at least one of whom must be a woman. Your ticket includes:
