CN&CO Gets Behind Malachi Place of Safety for Christmas

The holiday season is a time for joy, family, and giving. Yet for many children in Cape Town, the festive cheer is a distant dream. At Malachi Place of Safety, a haven for abused and abandoned children, the Brummer family has been working tirelessly to change that narrative since 2005. Over the years, they’ve provided love, care, and hope to more than 160 children, many of whom have experienced unimaginable trauma.

This Christmas, CN&CO is proud to continue its support of Malachi Place of Safety and their heartwarming tradition of hosting a Christmas party for the children whose lives they’ve touched.

A Christmas Carnival of Hope

Under the guidance of Audrey and her dedicated team, this year’s celebration promises to be extra special. The team is creating a Christmas Carnival packed with games, prizes, sweets, and a whole lot of festive magic. Each child will get to meet Santa, receive a personalized gift, and capture a cherished memory with a photo.

Audrey expects 80 children at this year’s party. For many, the gift they receive here may be the only Christmas gift they’ll open this season. With just R140, you can sponsor a gift and help bring joy to a child who deserves it most.

CN&CO Charity Run

CN&CO is taking its support a step further by hosting a Festive Charity Run on 6 December at Higher Ground, St Stithians. It’s a 5km run filled with fun, including five drink stops to keep the holiday spirit alive.

Here’s how you can participate:

  1. Donate R150 to join the run.
  2. Enjoy a lively event with friends, family, and CN&CO partners like EasyEquities Born2Run Club, who are proudly sponsoring the event.
  3. Know that all the entry fees go directly to Malachi Place of Safety and Maharishi Institute, spreading the love even further this festive season.

A Season for Giving

Let’s come together to make Christmas special for these young kids. Whether you sponsor a gift, join the charity run, or share their story, your contribution will make a world of difference.
