RMB Run4Rivers: Run for the rivers, stay for the wine

CN&CO is thrilled to be supporting the upcoming RMB Run4Rivers, taking place on Sunday, 22 June 2025, hosted at the stunning Plaisir Wine Farm in the heart of the Simonsberg region in the Western Cape.

“The run promises to be a celebration of nature, community and purpose,” says CN&CO founder Carel Nolte. “And it’s all made possible by our long-time friends at RMB, who continue to show up for the things that matter.”

At CN&CO, we’ve always admired RMB, not just for the work they do in the financial services space, but for how they show up as people and partners: thoughtfully, intentionally and with impact. That same spirit is alive and well in the Run4Rivers initiative, a trail run sponsored by RMB in support of the Banhoek Conservancy, which strives to protect Simonsberg’s rivers, clear invasive alien vegetation and develop sustainable trails that benefit the entire ecosystem.

CN&CO’s Blake Dyason will (of course) be out front, taking on the big 22km Waboom Challenge, while Carel will be at the other end of the field, cruising the shorter 5km Disa Fun Run, soaking up the scenery and the vibe.

“Between us, we’ve got the long and the short distances covered!” says Carel.

And let’s not forget the setting. Plaisir Wine Farm is not only an incredible host but also home to some truly amazing wines. A few of our CN&CO crew have become loyal fans, and you can expect to find us lingering at the tasting table once the running is done. This is a race that rewards you in more ways than one.

Choose your adventure:

  • Disa Fun Run – 5km: Easy-going and family-friendly.
  • Pincushion Challenge – 10km: A perfect balance of challenge and beauty.
  • Waboom Challenge – 22km: A serious test for trail lovers with a taste for elevation… and wine!

The best part? Every step helps fund real, on-the-ground conservation work.

Entries close 20 June 2025 – so don’t wait! REGISTER HERE.

Come and be part of something meaningful (and delicious).

We’ll see you on the trails. And at the wine table.
