A vibrant 2025 African Insurance Exchange at Sun City
The 2025 African Insurance Exchange (AIE) brought the insurance community together for an unforgettable few days of learning, networking and fun. CN&CO Events was proud once again to be the event organiser for this year’s conference, which attracted over 1 100 delegates to Sun City, with more joining online.
“It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces and to make new connections,” says Colin Ford, who was part of the team on site. “AIE is always special, but this year felt particularly energised. The quality of the speakers and the openness of the discussions really showed the industry’s appetite for growth and innovation.”
CN&CO’s Kurt Solomon echoed this sentiment: “It’s such a privilege to be part of an event that brings the entire industry together. We had meaningful conversations with both old friends and new contacts, and there was a real sense of community.”
Blake Dyason added, “What stood out to me was the balance between serious learning and serious fun. The sessions were packed with insights we can all take back to our businesses, but there was also plenty of time to connect on a personal level. That’s what makes AIE so unique.”
Llewellyn du Plessis, head of CN&CO Events, commented, “Our team is so proud to have been part of making AIE 2025 a reality. The support from delegates, sponsors and partners was phenomenal, and the energy throughout the event was inspiring. It’s a real testament to the strength and spirit of the insurance industry.”
We extend our congratulations to all the award winners recognised at the conference for their contributions to the industry. A special mention also goes to Zimkhitha Saungweme, who was appointed as the new president of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA) during the event.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at AIE 2025 and helped make it such a dynamic and engaging experience. Here are some of the photo highlights:
