Michele Katz joins CN&CO Recruit

Experienced and well-known recruiter Michele Katz has joined CN&CO Recruit, bringing fresh energy and deep expertise to our growing recruitment offering in the insurance space.

After spending the past couple of years in Australia with a specialist recruitment agency, Michele has returned home to South Africa – where she previously ran her own successful recruitment business in Johannesburg for 17 years.

We first met Michele at Hollard in the early 2000s, and she’s been part of our extended CN&CO family ever since. Having her on board now feels like a full-circle moment.

Michele is exceptionally well connected across the insurance industry and has built up a rich database of both employers and candidates. She has an uncanny ability to match the right person to the right role – whether it’s a C-suite executive, a claims technician, or anything in between. Her work spans insurers, brokers and UMAs.

Adding insurance

Michele’s arrival rounds out our recruitment offering, which has until now focused mainly on education.

CN&CO founder Carel Nolte says, “With Michele on the team, we now have a dedicated insurance recruitment specialist, allowing us to offer a full end-to-end service. And, as with our education placements, a portion of all commissions will continue to go to charity.”

Michele has already made a few placements and is working with CN&CO’s Colin Ford on a skills development project at Aon Re.
