The CN&CO effect at the 2025 IIG Gala: Energy, Connection & a whole lot of Vibe

Last week’s Insurance Institute of Gauteng (IIG) Gala Dinner reminded me why this event is one of the big moments on the Jozi insurance calendar. Every year the industry shows up in style – but this year, something felt different. Bigger. Warmer. More electric.

Maybe it was the spectacular dancers and powerhouse singers.
Maybe it was Wilmine Prinsloo, IIG President, who brought a vibe that carried through every detail of the evening.

Or maybe – just maybe – it was the CN&CO effect in full force.

Because when CN&CO are in the mix, great things tend to happen.

I’ve attended a few IIG gala dinners over the years, and I can honestly say this was the best I’ve experienced. The evening was seamless – beautifully run, full of energy and packed with moments that reminded you why the work we all do matters.

CN&CO Events once again showed why they’re in a league of their own. From flow to timing to vibe, everything was considered and intentional. You could feel their magic in the way the room moved.

I attended on behalf of Lombard Insurance, and a few of my colleagues were also there supporting their clients. That’s what makes CN&CO special- we don’t just book a table and arrive; we show up fully, we connect, we celebrate, and we help make these moments meaningful for the brands we partner with.

If you’ve ever worked with us, you’ll know: we don’t do “just enough”. We bring curiosity, energy, fun and authenticity wherever we go. And it was amazing to feel that ripple through the evening – whether we were catching up with clients, cheering during the entertainment, or soaking in the atmosphere.
