TeamSA to hold up the South African flag in Rio Olympics 2016

The South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (or SASCOC for short) has officially announced the 137 athletes to take part in the Rio Olympics 2016 starting this month. We couldn’t be any prouder of the athletes chosen to represent South Africa. Their hard work and dedication continues to be an inspiration to the nation and we have faith that they will succeed on the global stage

docAmong Team SA is RowSA’s rowing squad, of which our close associate Paolo Cavalieri is the chairperson. RowSA has partnered up with Rand Merchant Bank and they released three commercials to announce their new relationship earlier this year. “The three 60-second commercials tell the story in distinct parts: before competition (with all the preparation and talent-nurturing that goes into it); facing competition (as on the water, so in the marketplace); and what happens after victory has been achieved. The stories salute the hard work and dedication of South Africa’s best rowing talent,” says RMB.

Having shared an insightful conversation at our July Confab session about the Comrades Race, we can only imagine how physically intense preparing for an event of this stature is and hope the hard work pays off for all involved.

Also confident in TeamSA are Nutreats, who are the ambassadors of healthy living. Their goal is provide relevant and practical information on how to lead healthy lifestyles. Encouraging positive behavior changes and taking responsibility of our well-being physically, emotionally and psychologically is a cornerstone of Nutreats philosophy. They also take interest in the sport scene happening in and around South Africa, and stand united with the rest of South Africa in support of the country’s athletes.
