The Ndlovu Youth Choir is at it again!

Our friends and partners from the Ndlovu Youth Choir continue to bring a smile to many people’s faces in South Africa and the around the globe.

On their website they describe how the choir will ignite your brand or event with our infectious energy and toe-tapping, uniquely South African musical performance, irresistibly combined with mesmerising choreography.

The choir has had a phenomenal start to year with multiple live performances and some special experiences that we can’t wait to share with you. You can follow them on Facebook or Twitter to stay up to date with their latest performances.

Listening to choir perform and even watching the music videos on their Youtube channel, you can feel their energy, it really is infectious. Recently the choir were on an international flight with Delta Air Lines and the plane was grounded for an extended period due to bad weather on the runway at O.R Tambo International Airport. The choir turned the frustrating situation into a joyous occasion and burst into song, filling the plane with their voices. The impromptu performance has made an appearance on social media and the Good Things Guy picked up on the story and wrote this article, “South African choir calmed an entire airplane down after passengers were grounded due to bad weather.”

Another impromptu and spontaneous performance by the choir, that has had over 10 000 views, was in a Whole Foods Market shop in March while they were in Los-Angeles and auditioning for America’s Got Talent.

Towards the end of 2018 they also submitted their version of our national anthem, Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika, as part of the Anthem Project which celebrates our anthem being voted the best in the world by The Economist.

So far, 2019 has been a jam-packed year for the choir. Their energy and amazing voices continue to bring joy to people all over world. Their journey continues and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for them.
