Keeping it WILD #2 with Sibusiso Vilane

Have you ever got goosebumps from someone sharing their life story? This happened to me while interviewing Sibusiso for the second episode of Keeping it WILD.

Sibusiso Vilane is a South African adventurer, the first black African to climb Mt Everest and has proven nothing is impossible through his crazy adventures.

I had the privilege of hearing Sibusiso Vilane give a motivational talk at a Emperor Asset Management event a few years ago and then ran Otter Trail 2021 with him and the Emperor Asset Management team.

In this podcast he shares what it was like growing up as a boy in poverty and how traveling and hiking wasn’t even a dream as they struggled to put food on the table, let alone thinking of climbing the highest peak in the world.

Do yourself a favor and make time to download and listen to Sibusiso Vilanes inspiring story, he shares the details of trying to summit, being caught in storms, getting left behind and narrowly escaping death.

Until next time, keep well and keep wild.

Keeping it WILD is hosted by Blake Dyason from CN&CO and produced by Neil Liddell from Telltale.media.
