Partnering Pridwin for educational excellence

CN&CO Recruit is proud to partner Pridwin – one of South Africa’s leading primary educational institutions, which celebrates its centenary in 2023 – to find its next executive head.

Executive Head Pridwin Preparatory School

The Pridwin Foundation seeks to appoint a new Executive Head to lead Pridwin Preparatory School with effect from January 2023 – our centenary year.

We are seeking a visionary leader with a passion for education and has demonstrated his or her dedication to the task of preparing Pridwin boys for the future.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Outstanding people leadership skills, ability to devise and implement strategy, and demonstrable commitment to transformation and diversity.
  • A relevant degree and SACE registration.
  • Relevant experience, including a minimum of 10 years’ teaching experience.
  • A proven senior leadership track record that demonstrates forward-thinking leadership and management skills.
  • Solid financial acumen.
  • A superior understanding of the key foundational skills required to deliver a preparatory school education of the highest quality that is relevant in both a global and an African context.
  • Outstanding technical educational skills with a future-focused outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all stakeholders.
  • The ability to attract and retain exceptional teachers and to work with, develop and motivate the staff complement.
  • An understanding of the importance of community, outreach and sustainability, all of which are central to the Pridwin ethos.
  • The provision of an all-round education for our boys, which is relevant for the twenty-first century, incorporating academics, the arts and sports.
  • A deep commitment to transformation and diversity imperatives.
  • The ability to build and maintain a balanced and inclusive school community, recognising the power of diversity in a Christian school.
  • A focus and passion for the use of technology and its use in collaborative and multi-faceted learning.
