Where were you at noon on 19 October 2022?

The CN&CO team really are all over the place – geographically speaking, that is! It’s part of our lifestyle business approach: being able to work wherever we are and finding a balance that helps us and our partners to succeed in all areas of life. Today is Blake Dyasons’ turn at the “Noon Blog”, so let’s check in and see what he and the rest of the CN&CO family are up to…

Blake:

I am sitting at Alpha Excelsior in the Northern Cederberg recognised as one of the worlds best rock climbing destinations. I came up to the Cederberg to support friends running the Cederberg Traverse 100km race and decided to stay on, work remotely and explore new trails.

At Noon, I was relaxing on the stoep drinking coffee and arranging radio interviews for the Mzansi Tenors who are performing at the Baxter Theatre on Friday 28th October. Tickets are available at Webticket.

Kurt:

I was working from my local Virgin Active catching up on emails, my to do list, planning exciting Ami opportunities and working on our Ami brochure. After fetching Tanya from the airport, now for a quick meeting with Christelle and Zaida.

Carel:

Was at EasyEquities HQ at noon. In Carel’s words I’ve been travelling a lot for work the past few weeks and so it is GREAT to be back “home” – spending time with my Easy team mates … hope everyone has seen the book CN&CO published and Easy is involved in, the TV series CN&CO produced and which Easy part sponsored and the very many other places where the Easy and CN&CO brand come together.

Gianluca:

Was working on new product strategies and updates for DARK’s online platforms. DARK offers a wide collection of world-class lighting and furniture designs.

Follow @dark_southafrica for more on their collection and products!

Stella:

Today I was at the epic ERP office, a new addition to CN&CO partners/clients portfolio (www.epicerp.co.za).

I am spending the day here, sitting in on sales meeting and discussions in order to get closer to the business and identify opportunities to build brand awareness and drive leads.

Rikus:

Busy sending the cookbook that CN&CO published “Daar’s ‘n Vegan op my verandah” to JHB to be distributed.

Colin:

I spent an hour with Aunt Susan this afternoon before heading to a meeting with Josie and Kate and a new client (but more about that in another blog). Many of you reading this will remember Susan Ford from our Hollard and Etana days. She was very involved in writing and PR for the two companies, particularly the rowing sponsorships back in the day. She is alive and well and passes her days happily in an assisted living facility in Johannesburg. So I thought, why not take a #kakselfie?!

Blake brings a lot of energy, passion and heart into everything he does. He is extremely passionate about our country, it’s people and the environment. He is based in Cape Town and is happiest when he is running around exploring the beauty of the mountains.
