EasyEquities Born2Run Christmas pub run 2022

The EasyEquities Born2Run running club hosted a Christmas pub run through the streets of Bryanston to raise funds for the Miracle Mission children’s home in Randburg. CN&CO’s Carel Nolte, Kurt Solomon, Rikus Kok and Colin Ford were among the participants.

The run started and ended at Bryanston Sports Club, taking the 60-odd runners (some more odd than others!) past five pubs and restaurants along the way – Mike’s Kitchen, Barrels & Bottles, Higher Ground, Ghazal and Café del Sol.

The Born2Run team handed out glow sticks, Christmas hats and sweets at the start of the run, and everyone got dressed up the honour the spirit of the season.

The runners contributed some R5 000, plus some extra goodies like nappies, clothing and toiletries. EasyEquities added an extra R2 500 to go towards Miracle Mission, bringing the total donation to R7 500 (plus goodies).

EasyEquities sponsored all the drinks along the route as well as snacks at the end to ensure that the charity received every single cent from the contributions.

Big thanks to the EasyEquities, the Born2Run team, Bryanston Sports Club and all the pubs along the way for hosting us. We had a fantastic time! Here are some pics to prove it:
