Night golf with the Insurance Institute of Gauteng

As always, the insurance industry turned out in numbers for another successful Insurance Institute of Gauteng (IIG) event on Wednesday, 25 May 2016. The IIG held its Night Golf Challenge at the Parkview Golf course; a format of the game with a glowing and fun twist. The CN&CO team of Kurt Solomon and Gianluca Tucci were involved, playing with clients, Purple Group’s Marketing Manager, Almero Oostrhuizen and Cyber insurance specialist from ITOO, Ryan van de Coolwijk.

The CN&CO four ball with the IIG President – Kurt Solomon, Tracy McLoughlin, Ryan van de Coolwijk and Almero Oosthuizen

Guests were challenged with the task of playing six holes (per four ball) in the dark with illuminated balls and flags on the greens. The event was put together brilliantly, with the IIG and sponsors of the day (Santam, Emerald, Glasfit, and Tracker) adding a great touch to every aspect including: illuminated greens and fairways, coffee and marshmallow hot chocolates around the course, prego’s and treats at half way, and  an entertaining prize giving to round it all off.

Current IIG President, Tracy McLoughlin, was delighted to thank all those involved to make the day a success as she presented the prizes for the day and winners of the lucky draws.

CN&CO’s Kurt shares, “we always enjoy doing something different and exciting and what a better way than playing golf in the dark! It was a fantastic evening, always organised so well by the IIG, and did I mention my epic four ball?”.

Congrats to Tracy, the IIG team, sponsors and the people who make insurance such a brilliant industry.
