CN&CO’s Fin-blog for the week ending 5 August 2016
Team CN&CO love financial services (among other things) and we enjoy reading about what’s happening in various quarters of the industry. Here are our favourite fin-blog picks of the week:
Colin’s pick:

Women need to save considerably more each month in order to retire on an equal footing with men.
Rob’s pick:
What’s next for Netflix?
From envelopes to streaming to original content… now?
The CN&CO twins (Kurt and Gianluca) pick:
Apple buys Carpool Karaoke
If you have never seen a “Carpool Karaoke” with James Corden, do yourself a favour and google it!
He includes a variety of big star celebs like Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Adele and recently the first lady, Michelle Obama. It goes to show how, small, fun and simple ideas can be BIG, like in this case where APPLE has just bought the idea.
Josie’s pick:

Its been completely exciting to watch our democracy at work. I’ve been watching the rand gain against foreign currencies, and the markets too with interest as the election results stream in from the municipalities. Interesting times.
