10 TED talks to improve your mood

Watching TED Talks is a popular pastime at CN&CO. We visit TED.com regularly to clear our heads, have a laugh or get inspired. TED Talks open our minds, spark new ways of thinking and can lead to some very interesting conversations. Each week we pick a favourite and publish it on a Tuesday, because we like how “TED Talk Tuesday” sounds. This week’s talk was selected by Kurt Solomon. Here’s why he chose it…

TED talks tug at emotion right? They are intended to pull a certain heart string, create a specific feeling or emotion when watching one.

Whether you are feeling sorry for yourself, down or sad, there literally is a TED talk for every mood or emotion you are feeling. I tend to enjoy the inspirational ones, but often find myself getting so caught up in the many different talks available.

Whether your attention span is short (like me), there are 2-5min TED talks, or if you prefer a 10 – 15 min talk, there are thousands of those. Go to www.TED.com.
