CN&CO #SharingTheLove: Thandulwazi Maths and Science Academy

Apart from the work we do with our awesome clients and partners, CN&CO is also involved in a number of projects and organisations that make a big difference in the lives of many people.

Over the next few weeks we will share some of these with you and invite you to join us in uplifting the individuals and communities involved in these projects. This week we share a story from the Thandulwazi Maths & Science Academy.

The Thandulwazi Maths and Science Academy is a “Saturday School” for gifted pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds who need an extra boost in a number of subjects. Classes are held at St Stithians and funds are raised by the college and other interested parties to keep the academy going.

“As chairman of the St Stithians Council, and one of many Thandulwazi donors (for only R100 a month you too can make a difference) I am delighted by the magnificent contribution Mr Velaphi Gumbi and his team made to #SaintsExcellence in 2018,” says CN&CO’s Carel Nolte. “I am even more excited by what we, together, can achieve. Education, to my mind, is the silver bullet for solving our world’s numerous challenges.”
