Your SME stands the chance to win R500K with Lulalend
SME stands for Small and medium-sized enterprises. These enterprises and businesses form a major part of our country’s future. They are a significant contributor to the South African economy and many believe that they will play a big role in the future growth of the country. Our president, Mr Cyril Ramaphosa, finalised an SME fund in March that is valued at R1.4 billion to support the development of the sector.
CN&CO started as and is still a small business, “The little start-up that could”. It asked the question if a company can exist, thrive and add ongoing value to clients and partners while supporting the changing lifestyle needs of the team?
Over the year’s CN&CO has also been instrumental in helping other small businesses get off the ground – Nuttman, Five2Nine, Dragon Risk and Mulberry Marketing – are just few of these. Small businesses are exciting, but they are also challenging to get started and so when we saw this campaign that Lulalend where running when had to share it.
Our connection to Lulalend is through our deputy chair, Carly Barnes, who used to work with our partner EasyEquities and joined the Lulalend team in Cape Town at the start of September.
Lulalend works hard to empower businesses across SA with the funds they need to grow.
When you started your business you might have had a whole team of supporters helping you get to where you are now. Or maybe not, maybe it was 100% hustle that’s earned you the title of CEO, Owner, Founder, or as is the case with a lot of SME owners, ‘A Little Bit of Everything-er’.
Lulalend have been able to offer many businesses the help they need so that they can get back to doing what they do best: running their business. That’s what friends do – they’re there to offer each other support when they need it. Their Friends in Funding competition, which runs until 13 December 2019, is aimed at doing just that.
Read more about the competition here. It requires just a few steps to enter and it may change the trajectory of your small business.
