Thinking from the RMB THINK Bench
RMB’s love for the arts shows clearly in its incorporation of multiple artworks in and around its Merchant Place campus in Sandton. Art is part of the RMB DNA (which is one of the reasons we love working with the RMB team) and the bank is widely known for the support it lends to artists and the arts in general.
On the 13th of August 2019, the University of Pretoria became the first recipient of the RMB THINK Bench. The spectacular 13-metre and 10-ton sculptural public artwork – the Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) THINK Bench, a contemporary functional piece designed to celebrate and encourage innovative and collaborative thinking.
Next time you are in the vicinity of the university pop in and check out the bench. RMB’s Merchant Place campus in Sandton is also well worth a visit. There are multiple art works on display. Look out for the QR codes next to the art works, scan them and learn more about the story by each art piece.
Have you visited @RMB_CIB’s Merchant Campus in Sandton? Amazing art pieces on display and a clever concept to have QR codes on the description to allow you to learn more about the artwork. #art #creativity @cnandco pic.twitter.com/sacEeN8tTe
