The George #FIAPower Session kicks-off on a high note
The FIA Power Sessions for 2018 kicked-off in George on Thursday, 15 February 2018, at The Oakhurst Insurance George Arts Theatre.
“The George FIA Power Session certainly set the bar very high in terms of the venue,”says FIA regional manager, Sandra Snowball. “Well done to Oakhurst for their commitment to the art in revamping the old theatre in George. A spectacular setting to kick-off the Power Sessions.”
The event comprised of intermediaries from across the industry, all looking forward to a value-adding #FIAPower session. The session also offered a great line-up of speakers which included some formidable industry players from our national partners – Hollard Insurance, Tracker, Sasria, IUM and Liberty. The speakers presented great topics which gave a fresh take on value and benefits to businesses.
“A massive focus on short-term insurance,” says The vice-chair of the FIA Southern Cape branch, Isobel Rohwer. “We received a lot of valuable information from the speakers and topped with food for thought from Victor Vermeulen and his amazing mom.”
Thinus Janse van Rensburg, chair of the Southern cape branch, also shared his positive experience and said, “I thought I would learn more about the insurance industry (without a doubt, I did), but I was rather reminded of a valuable life lesson.”
Well done to Keith Barrett of UIM, who won the lucky draw and received a cash prize of R2 500.
