CN&CO Connecting with people

Top athletes connect via CN&CO

At CN&CO we have a passion for people and brand.

If you follow our regular blog series, The Company We Keep, you may be familiar with some of the stories and people. These blogs seek to profile some of the most interesting people in our networks. We share the details of the lives of people we know, showcasing the extraordinary diversity of our society and proving that people truly are at the heart of everything we do.

Connecting people and sharing their stories, because the world is a lot smaller than it seems at first glance. We are also big on starting conversations and getting to know people in different circles.

Earlier in the week our Carel Nolte, shared a post on Facebook expressing how he “is always inspired by the athletes he meets – their focus, determination, resilience, grit and consistency in training.” A number of the athletes that we have had the opportunity to meet and work with have been active of late, so here’s a quick update.

Olympic hopeful and top skateboarder Brandon Valjalo continues to push the limits. Have you heard about his partnership with EasyEquities?

A few of our surfing mates were riding waves in Sun City. One of them was Jono Bruton who works with Carel at EasyEquities, is the founder of Dead Reckoning, and a former Springbok surfer. Check out the full story here.

We also had a few of our friends from EasyEquities venturing out on their bicycles and participated in the African Icons Invitational raising funds for the Widows & Orphans Fund (WOF) and SAPSET.

Our Blake Dyason was also out adventuring and connecting with the broader trail community in the Western Cape over the weekend. Here’s a picture from one of his latest trips to Greyton with his trail running mates. Keep an eye out for a crazy 13 peak challenge in Cape Town that Joshua and Blake have planned for November.
