Need to ‘get sh!t done’? – James Erasmus can help you with that….

By Stella Carter

I recently had the pleasure of spending some time with James Erasmus, founder and CEO of Digital Transformation Services (DTS). CN&CO was called in to help James build a clear brand and value proposition for the business.

DTS was established to assist organisations realise, implement and achieve their strategic goals. In short – James helps businesses “get sh!t done!”

When you first meet James, you will instantly feel heard, understood and in very capable hands. He is warm and engaging and a really great listener – but while he is listening, he is painting a bigger picture and connecting the dots between your vision and objectives, your internal capabilities and the map to achieving these.

When I asked James what makes him stand out from other “consultants” or “coaches”, he said it’s his ability to really empathise with the business and its people, to the point where he shares their vision as if it were his own. When James takes on a new project he always spends time in the organisation, becoming part of the furniture to truly get to know the business and get to know what lies at its core – the people.

It’s through this truly empathetic approach that James is then able to recommend a solution and, map of the journey forward in a very real and practical manner, with clear milestones along the way, incorporating each role player’s strengths in order to ensure success along every step of the journey.

“I have to say, you are one of the few people that just gets sh!t done. Usually I have to ask, but each time you deliver. Thanks for that!” – Henderson Barrie, Head of Strategic Delivery at Digitata
